As a locally owned, customer-first institution, Cairns Bank wanted to ensure its website delivered an experience that echoed its friendly, helpful approach. Recognising that many customers turn to them for home loans, the bank saw a need for clearer navigation, stronger calls-to-action, and an updated aesthetic. Additionally, they aimed to leverage an extended brand colour palette for distinct visual cues, ensuring users could effortlessly find relevant information.

By referencing the playful concept of a bank card emerging from a wallet, the design team created modular “building block” elements for key site sections. These design choices underscored Cairns Bank’s commitment to seamless banking solutions while subtly highlighting their home loan offerings.
