Our commitment

Bang Media is committed to making bangmedia.com.au accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology or circumstance. We believe good design should work for everyone, and we apply that standard to our own site as well as the websites we build for clients.

Conformance status

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, meaning most content meets the standard while some areas are still being improved.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy on every page
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keyboard navigable menus and interactive elements
  • Descriptive link text rather than generic phrases
  • Responsive layouts that support zoom and reflow on all devices

Known limitations

Some areas of this site may not yet fully conform:

  • Some video content does not yet include captions or transcripts. We are progressively adding these.
  • Certain animations and interactive effects may not respond to reduced-motion preferences.
  • Some third-party embedded content, such as booking and video players, is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.
